
2nd Convocation Held at Bacha Khan University



Bacha Khan University Charsadda held its second convocation in a dignified and grand ceremony, where degrees were awarded to 219 graduates from various departments. Among them, 51 students received gold medals in recognition of their academic excellence.
The graduating students expressed joy and gratitude upon receiving their degrees, thanking their teachers and parents for their support. The ceremony was graced by the presence of Pro-Chancellor Mr. Meena Khan Afridi, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Zahid Hussain, Registrar Dr. Izaz Ahmad Khan, Controller of Examinations Dr. Muhammad Ali Khan, Dean of Sciences Prof. Dr. Khalid Saeed, Treasurer Dr. Muhammad Nisar Khan, along with members of the Senate and Syndicate, and faculty members from across the university.
While addressing the ceremony, the distinguished guests congratulated the graduates and emphasized the importance of using their education to serve the nation and improve society. They highlighted that convocation marks both the completion of an academic journey and the beginning of new responsibilities in practical life.
Provincial Minister Meena Khan stated that the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has taken significant steps to promote higher education. These include the development of a five-year strategic plan aimed at identifying and resolving issues faced by universities, increasing funding, and improving academic standards. He also mentioned that scholarships for university students have been increased fivefold, and education up to the intermediate level has been made free for underprivileged and orphaned students.
In conclusion, the graduating students expressed their appreciation to the provincial minister and university faculty, pledging to use their knowledge and skills for the betterment of the country and society.
