M.Phil. Sociology

The M.Phil. Sociology program is a research-based graduate degree that provides advanced knowledge of sociological theories, social research methods, community development, social change, gender studies, rural and urban sociology, public policy, and development studies. The program combines advanced coursework with independent research, enabling students to critically analyze social issues and contribute to evidence-based policymaking, social welfare, and sustainable community development.

BS Sociology (4-year), MA Sociology, or an equivalent degree in Sociology or a related social sciences discipline from an HEC-recognized university. Applicants must meet the minimum CGPA/percentage requirements prescribed by the university. Candidates may be required to qualify an entry test and/or interview according to university admission regulations. Admission is subject to the university's graduate admission policy.
