M.Phil. Microbiology

The M.Phil. Microbiology program is a research-based graduate degree that provides advanced knowledge of microorganisms and their applications in medicine, agriculture, environmental science, and biotechnology. The curriculum covers medical microbiology, industrial microbiology, immunology, molecular microbiology, microbial genetics, virology, food microbiology, and infectious diseases. Through laboratory research and a supervised thesis, students develop the scientific and analytical skills required to address global health, environmental, and industrial challenges.

BS Microbiology (4-year) or an equivalent degree in Microbiology, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or another relevant life sciences discipline from an HEC-recognized university. Applicants must meet the minimum CGPA/percentage requirements prescribed by the university. Candidates may be required to qualify an entry test and/or interview in accordance with university admission regulations. Admission is subject to the university's graduate admission policy.
